Forgotten is the curse of the Adamic covenant
The bride of Christ robed in satanic ornaments
Look, she's embracing the Pelagian heresy
Look, she has lost her entire identity
She cannot bow to the Creator of the cosmos
When she denies the manifestation of the Logos
Nor can she be saved by the idol that she follows
Thus, her children roll and wallow in her sorrows
Like dogs to their vomit, and pigs to their mud
Do we return to frolic in deeds that caused the flood
He preached by the Sea of Galilee
a commandment to be friendly
But with these sinners all around me
it is hard not to abhor the assembly
Abhor the assembly
Countless is the brood she is nursing
Groundless is the doctrine they are learning
And it might not be too late but it is urgent
To prevent a deadly constriction by the serpent
and reclaim from it what you have surrendered
If my faith is without the Fall at its center
Why on earth would I ever need a savior
Why on earth would I ever need a savior
He preached by the Sea of Galilee
a commandment to be friendly
But with these sinners all around me
it is hard not to abhor the assembly
Like dogs to their vomit, and pigs to their mud
Do we return to frolic in deeds that caused the flood
Our deeds they caused the flood
Unless we are through Christ reborn
shall we remain an evil spawn
of ancient and disgusting rites
that shunned us out of paradise
And on the day that He returns
to save us from a world that burns
will evil hearts be drained from doubt
as He arrives to cast them out

I'm glad I found this, and other compilation albums. So many bands I've never heard of before now. I've been a Christian Hardcore/Heavy fan for a very long time but never kept up with anything past the 2000s really. It's good to catch up and it feels good to know all is still very much alive and well! wespaul2000

In general, I’m not very keen on doom metal, but this album appears as an exception. The dark atmosphere and the beautiful melodies held my attention from the first seconds, but what that really made me give in are the mesmerizing vocals.
This record is honestly something you don’t want to miss. Monia Lisa
