Dance before the altar of serpents
Summon the devil to invade your home
Call all the witches to dance together
Feast on poison and break your own bones (3x)
I saw your Judas kiss
While taking shade beneath the great leaf
While your hands were busy with evil
And tongue was spitting unbelief (2x)
Dance with the animals
And fall down and bury yourself
I hope that God will show you mercy
Your rapture was false, you had no epiphany
Your fixation was sick and your faith was weak
You fell asleep in the garden of Gethsemane
In your lap lies silkworm
An opioid, an opinion
A light dim or a reflection
Your alabaster box is broken
Dance with the beast with fewer ears than mouths
Then fall down and curl up and cut yourself
My dreams were snakes to spread affliction to my senses
And yours were comforts to worship your serpents
Dance with the beast with fewer ears than mouths
Then fall down and curl up and cut yourself
Language of flies, words fall out of your mouth and instantly die
A mind for demise, your hope is synthetic, your peace is a lie (3x)

I'm glad I found this, and other compilation albums. So many bands I've never heard of before now. I've been a Christian Hardcore/Heavy fan for a very long time but never kept up with anything past the 2000s really. It's good to catch up and it feels good to know all is still very much alive and well! wespaul2000

In general, I’m not very keen on doom metal, but this album appears as an exception. The dark atmosphere and the beautiful melodies held my attention from the first seconds, but what that really made me give in are the mesmerizing vocals.
This record is honestly something you don’t want to miss. Monia Lisa
The great NYC black metal group Dawnbreaker returns with another harrowing LP, where brutal riffs are trailed by eerie synths. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 23, 2022
